Takahashi Residence
Also known as the Beer King, Takahashi Ryutaro was not only instrumental in the business development and growth of beer in Japan but also he became the Minister of International Trade and Industry and one of the most prominent faces to the post-war economic revival of Japan.
Now under the loving care of the city of Uchiko, Takahashi Ryutaro’s former residence has been transformed into a Ryokan museum where anyone can come to enjoy one of Uchkio’s finest lodgings, but also learn more about one of Japan’s most respected business men.
